Astro – Party is the complete package of universe gathering, in which you can observe the night sky from one of our biggest telescopes with a 12-inch primary mirror.

4 am to 5.30 am – session 3 – Saturn, Jupiter and other morning objects watching

By attending our stargazing event, participants gained a newfound appreciation for the wonders of the night sky, acquired practical skills for stargazing and astrophotography, and formed connections within the astronomy community. Accommodation
We have High quality Tents for accommodation. Tents are double sharing with Cotton Mattress and Pillow. Camping site have Built-up toilets facility.
Sports facilities
We have a variety of sports facilities available for your child to stay active and have fun. These include a Badminton, cricket, ball, archery and more.
Dining
We provide nutritious and delicious vegetarian meals, tea and snacks. Our staff are trained to maintain high levels of hygiene and food safety.

Our camp site will be under the constant supervision of our staff and CCTVs cameras, who will ensure your safety and well-being throughout your stay.

Our Astro party camp is a secure with restricted access. Visitors are only allowed after prior authorization and verification.

Our staff is carefully selected and undergo a thorough background check before they are hired. They are also trained in child safety, first aid, and emergency procedures.

Stargazing Astro Party In Pune
- ASTRO – PARTY
- Once in a lifetime experience to a close encounter with the amazing wonders of the universe
- It is completely arranged by experts and no out-of-schedule activity is permitted
- No use of alcohol or other element is permitted in the event, and if detected we will dismiss your entry on the spot.
- The best option to spend your weekend and start your journey to the cosmos
- Accessible site location from the city – appx 50 km
- General instructions
- You must carry id proof like an Aadhaar card, pan card, and driving license.
- Please sign in the registration form once you reach the campsite.
- Be on time – between 5 to 5.45 pm
- Bring your cold wear with you, like sweaters, jackets, etc. Blankets will be provided by us.
- Bring your medication if you are in any treatment and mosquito repellent cream.
- Bring your power bank or charge your mobile full.
- Please carry a drinking water bottle, you will be able to refill the water.
- Parking facilities for private vehicles are available.
- Make sure we don’t disturb other campers at the campsite.
- Drinking and smoking in the Camping field are strictly prohibited.
- Follow all arriving instructions.

Astronomers, astrophysicists, and nature lovers generally love this activity but other people also participate in this because watching the night sky through a telescope is one of the few experiences in life that anyone can’t forget.
Stargazing is useful in everyday life in many ways, for astronomers and scientists it will provide observational data about distant objects and for general people who are excited about astronomy and the universe gives a glimpse of the knowledge that changes our perspective about our life and world. A part of this stargazing makes you relax, and calm, and relieves your stress. You can participate in stargazing on a weekend holiday to get into the community and reduce your social distancing.
There are many places for stargazing in Pune. The primary requirement of the location is it should be pollution-free and have no surrounding lights and the sky must be dark. With this, there are many places near Bhor Pune Satara Road, near Velhe, near Panshet, Pawana lake area, etc.
You can see some bright and close objects through Binoculars or naked eyes also. But for long-distance celestial objects like messier objects, galaxies, etc you need quite a good telescope. To start you can use a Binocular and you can see Moon, Mars, Venus, etc.
With few precautions stargazing is very safe for small kids to senior citizens also. Before going out stargazing take all medical and other essentials like a torch, first aid kit, etc. looking for a long time through a telescope towards bright objects like full moon may hurt your eyes. If you consider these tips then your stargazing activity is very safe and joyful.
In Pune You can go stargazing near Bhor, Panshet dam area, On Rajgad, Pawana lake area, and Lonawala, you can go anywhere where light pollution is minimum and have basic resources.
Stargazing programs are mostly arranged by astronomy clubs or related organizations. You need to find which astronomy club in your area is active and arrange the stargazing or you can click here and join our club as a member.
